16.10 :: The
new Moonsorrow album, entitled VIIDES LUKU - HÄVITETTY, will be released
through Spikefarm records on the 10th of January 2007! More info on the album and
tourdates for the coming year will be announced here soon!

11.09 :: Two more shows confirmed for later this year! If you live in Estonia or
the Netherlands you might wanna swing by Tallinn and Arnhem respectively to do some

30.07 :: Ladies and Gentlemen, Elvis has left the building. Making room for the
grumpy old men, a.k.a. us, that is why. In other words, we´re back in the studio,
starting from Monday 31.7. to Friday 11.8. Make sure you read the hottest gossips and

20.07 :: An early announcement. Moonsorrow will be playing the Winternoise
festival on January 13th in Osnabrück, Germany. Check the festival website for more info:
www.winternoise.de.
19.06 :: Thomas Väänänen, the vocalist of Thyrfing, will appear on the next
Moonsorrow album. This is the first time ever the Finnjävel (Swedish Finn) is performing
in his other mother tongue, and we are very excited to see how it turns out! Check the
studio diary for his entry; pictures to be uploaded soon.
Moonsorrow will now take a one month break from the studio with 98% of the material
recorded. The second raid is set to take place starting July 31st with the trademarked
hungover viking choirs and the mixing of the album.
